Randy Peak has over two decades of experience providing transactional and operations counsel to industry leaders in the healthcare, technology and telecommunications sectors. Randy has negotiated numerous multimillion-dollar technology and commercial transactions on a global scale and has significant experience advising private and public entities, nonprofits and startups on strategic affiliations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and channel arrangements.
In his previous roles as general counsel for one of the largest academic health systems in the United States, deputy general counsel for a leading healthcare services company and group purchasing organization (GPO), and serving as in-house counsel for a FORTUNE Global 500 organization, Randy provided transactional, operational and risk management counsel on a wide variety of matters. He advised on complex commercial transactions, information technology, data security and privacy, software development and licensing, purchased services agreements and intellectual property matters. Randy also has extensive experience counseling clients on structuring and drafting customer-facing agreements.
In addition to his transactional practice, Randy counsels executive leadership in the healthcare industry on healthcare information technology, group purchasing arrangements and supply chain strategy, network formation, physician contracting, telehealth/telemedicine, healthcare innovation, digital health, corporate structure and governance matters, and regulatory issues, including HIPAA, GPO safe harbor and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance.
