Darren S. Skyles

Darren Skyles is a member of our health care practice group. He provides daily legal guidance to health care executives, physicians, corporate compliance officers, information security officers and front-line staff in both hospital and physician practice settings and advises on areas of concern for hospitals and physician practices, including corporate compliance matters, business transactions, medical staff issues, board governance, contracts, human resource issues, and policies and procedures. His practice includes counseling hospitals and physicians on business ventures to comply with state and federal healthcare regulations. He has experience in the areas of the Stark Law, the Federal Antikickback Statute and HIPAA Privacy and Security. Darren also provides representation in employment and governmental entity matters.

During law school, Darren served as the director of a cancer information service with a Texas Medical Center hospital in Houston, Texas.
