A third-generation attorney, Evangeline (Evie) O. Lalangas took an early interest in health care. She and her sister played dentist growing up, fashioning retainers out of paperclips for their dolls. Today her sister is a dentist, and Evie works with a variety of dentists and health care professionals. From her first-generation Greek immigrant parents, she learned about Greek philosophy, ethics, law, and the importance of articulating well-reasoned positions. Her family inspired her interest in law, and her early experiences as a volunteer at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital sparked her lifelong interest in health care. Evie relishes the opportunity to partner with the firm’s clients in a field where results are tangible and the ultimate goal is to keep people healthy.
