Michael Logan

Michael Logan is a founding director of the Firm and chairs the Litigation Section. He has substantial experience in federal and state court representing privately held businesses, financial institutions, publicly traded companies and insurers in tort, real estate, construction, energy and complex business litigation.
He also represents physicians in a variety of health care matters, including medical peer review proceedings. Mike was lead counsel in the Poliner vs. Presbyterian Hospital case, which resulted in a substantial verdict and more importantly, a national debate concerning sham peer review of physicians. Since that time, Mike has represented physicians on issues relating to state and federal immunity, recruitment and employment agreements, privileging and credentialing, as well as medical peer review hearings at the administrative level and in state and federal court. Mike is also the editor of the KRCL health care blog, The Doctor’s Advocate, which provides updates and information on a variety of physician-related matters.
