Vicki Wanjura

Vicki Wanjura is a knowledgeable health care attorney with experience representing hospitals, health care providers, and nonprofit organizations. Vicki spent over ten years as in-house counsel for the world’s leading pediatric orthopedic hospital and additionally served as the hospital’s HIPAA privacy officer.

Vicki has extensive experience advising on healthcare operations, governance, administration and compliance. She represents hospitals, physician practices, and other health care providers regarding licensing, accreditation, HIPAA, HITECH, and other state and federal compliance laws. Vicki has also represented physician practices certified by the Texas Medical Board as nonprofit health care organizations. In addition, Vicki has extensive experience drafting and negotiating contracts including management agreements, asset purchase agreements, service agreements, and publication agreements. She also authors and delivers customized compliance training for providers, employees, medical staff and boards.
