Shanna Dean

Shanna Dean joined Gray Reed & McGraw’s corporate and healthcare practice groups as an associate in 2017 after participating in Gray Reed’s 2016 summer associate program. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.A. in Integrated Marketing in Communication along with a minor in Non-Profit Management. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law where she served as an Articles Editor for the SMU Science and Technology Law Review.

Shanna participated in SMU’s Corporate Counsel Externship Program where she gained invaluable experience working in the legal department of a publicly traded consumer goods company. Using the experience she gained through law school and the externship, she represented small business clients in numerous matters as a student attorney for the SMU Small Business and Trademark Clinic.
